Lyric Opera and Nelson-Atkins Partner for Workshop

Celebrate the Company’s 50th birthday and production of La bohème with this multi-part workshop at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art on September 20. Begin with a tour of French art from the 19th century, engage in activities to discover more about the opera itself, and conclude with a chance to explore your own inner Bohemian with a hands-on art activity. Charlotte’s Web coming to Lawrence and Kansas City

“Terrific!”  “Some Pig!”  This beloved children’s story will come alive through opera in March 2009. Students can attend a performance during the school day, and families can attend a weekend performance. Charlotte’s Web will be performed in Lawrence, Kansas and Kansas City, Missouri.  Find more information.

Lyric Opera Guild Boutique

During every Lyric Opera performance the Guild Boutique is open until after the last intermission. The boutique is located in the lobby of the Lyric Theatre, with a smaller display case in the upper lobby. They sell everything from Lyric Opera themed merchandise to clothing that will let you look fabulous at any opera performance.
